Not Alone
Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies. For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.
In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.
- Romans 8:23-26 NIV
Over the course of my life, I’ve known some people and have followed some others… some famous and some not so much… who have struggled with mental health issues and didn’t feel like they could keep going, and thus gave up their life.
For some reason, they lost hope.
But hope can be found, even in what feels like the darkest of times.
Coming from a family with members who had issues with their own demons,
I can say that there is still hope.
There are still things worth living for.
If you find yourself in a place where you feel like you’ve lost hope…
Reach out.
People care.
People love you.
The world is not better without you.
There Is Hope… His Name is Jesus
The world is better with you in it.
